Johanna asked about the lighting. It's all natural. The setting is a barracks room in a reconstructed fort; the day was bright. She is facing east; I'm shooting west. Behind and above her is a narrow, horizontal, slot window (about 12"-15" high and a good 10' long). Behind me is an open doorway and another open window, this one more "normally" sized and shaped. She was sitting well back into the room - probably about 2/3 of the way back from the door. I did lighten her face in post.
