 I'm so impressed how well this phone camera captures action images.

Don’t mention the halos, it’s hard editing whilst travelling, well that’s my excuse;)

Thank you for the lovely comments, it was by chance while my husband and I went for a walk down this lake that we met a lovely couple who lived close by, this was their dog, apparently they do this every day. Not one to waste any type of photographic opportunity I started to snap away. This pooch was having the time of its life, not sure how cold the water was but he was loving it. Actually had another photo that I took from our trip for this challenge, but exchanged it for this image. I really wanted to test this phone cameras ability to take action shots. I am most impressed. I took probably over 20 images, every single one of them was sharp as a tac!

Cellphone cameras are making it harder and harder to justify lugging around heavy cameras :)

I darkened the sky because I felt it made more impact. Took this shot at 10:58 am in the bright sun, you know what it’s like taking photos during this time of the day, they’re not always the best.

I have seen this lake only with the snow or ice. Whistler is still my favorite skiing place in spite of having now skied in many places around Switzerland, France and Austria. Unfortunately we can't go skiing to Canada any more due to the lack of skiing accident insurance :(

Why is the sky so dark? Is it automatic conversion in this phone? Congrats on the red.

Thanks for the explanation, not sure if us Aussies down under use that term. Never heard it before. Anyway you are hundred percent correct about this phone, I travelled with two other cameras, but I used this phone camera probably even more so, very convenient and so light of course. And of course thank you for the 10 :-)
