2006 Revision:
In the time it took to melt two cubes and consume half of his whiskey, Donnie had gone from already drunk to totally smashed. His wallet was empty, the rolex on another man's wrist, the keys to the Navigator in the dealer's pocket.
"One more," he huffed, struggling to see through his heavy eyelids.
The dealer swatted away the smoke from his cuban. "Tell ya what, Donnie-boy, I'll give ya a freebie. Win seven this round and I'll let ya walk outta here alive."
Another gulp of the firey drink and he nodded thankfully, too drunk now to even see the cards in front of him.
- Can I just say now that brand new cards do NOT like to stay where you put them? I had to use saran wrap between the cards just to get enough friction to keep them spaced the way I wanted. Then it took another 100+ shots to line up the props without my shoulder or other arm getting in the way. For my first indoor set-up, I'm extremely thrilled, but I'm really hoping to get some tips on how to do this better when I reshoot.

Less common subject of this round, the pic seems out of focus and the colors are harsh. |

How about a seven-seven with your clubs? The liquid in the glass is the true focal point, and it is dazzling. The cards are slightly out of focus. I would like them to either be softer focus or crisp and tight like the glass. Nice shot. |

Nice border. I have taken a beating for my borders. This is a great, tastefull example. Colour and composition are right on.
If I may say, boost the sharpness and crop less on the right.
I am adding this to my favorites. |

nice composition. The focus should be on the cards rather then the glass. |
