 done for the Gratitude in May Side challenge

every single day i feel grateful for where i live .. this is just near my house ..
ppl would say i'm living the dream ..
unfortunately you could be in paradise but its how you are in your own head that makes it real or not ...
probably tmi ..

actually shot this for the contrast challenge .. but didnt like the results .. its more fitting for here ..
this paddock is where i sometimes see the kangaroos .. altho i cant get anywhere near them .. they are a very timid ..
altho there are caravan parks i know of down the coast where the kangaroos are very tame .. too tame .. and come into ppl's cabins .. !! .. wish they were like that here ..

When we lived in our bush retreat in Melbourne we used to have a wallaby come and look inside our windows. I couldn't get very close to him but he wouldn't run away immediately as all others. He had an old wound above the nose and I suspect that it was cared for by wildlife carers hence less fear of humans.

Green grass under gum trees - must be winter :)

With a decent camera, an attentive eye, and a vision of paradise, close to home and miles away are both full of potential. Nice shot!

Near your house you have a charming forest and just in the middle of it there is a tree/shadow/mysterious presence of its devout "gardener".
