my theme .. taking photos and doing stuff to them .. more or less .. and maybe experimenting a bit ..

for Margaret marnet .. yes .. i cheated .. the bokeh was added in photoshop .. ;)
and the little butterfly was just as you see him here .. hanging down .. he might have liked the view .. !! . :)

gorgeously melodramatic. fizzing with unresolved symbolism

Are these light bubbles added in Photoshop? Looks very nice but I have an incredible desire to rotate the butterfly so he is not hanging down! :)

I love that bokeh. The shot itself is wonderful. That barb is coming straight at me, ridden by a butterfly! Beautiful and terrifying.

The element of danger is formidable.

What a great combination of something harsh with something delicate and fragile. And that bokeh is sublime!

At first I thought this was underwater. You've taken an abstract approach and it works very well. I love the sharp detail of its head and antenna. The bokeh is outstanding.

I love this image. Is it a barb masquerading as a butterfly or butterflies masquerading as barbs? Such a delicate, poignant observation, so beautifully photographed and presented. The bokeh circles are also extraordinary. I'd put this on my wall in a heartbeat.
