this is wonderful Margaret ... just loving everything about this .. i particularly like the hat as well .. and that the shadows have almost become puddles .. :)
Very interesting and successful image. The scene looks appealing before the processing, but you've revealed the inscrutable nature of these people, like mirrors without reflections. I like the pen and ink scratchiness, and the marbled tones overall. Your experimenting has yielded fine results.
