i started to edit this for the daguerreotype challenge ... didnt finish that edit .. and entered something else .. i had forgotten about it .. thought i'd put it in our march side challenge ..
anyway ... i was taking katee for a walk .. and had stopped .. which is why this kangaroo didnt see me at first ... i took a couple of shots of him while he stared at me .. then he hopped away .. for impact i cropped a lot .. which didnt do much for the quality ..
You've created a wonderful result in itself and from the original. This is haunting, as it's very daguerreotype-ish, affecting and bygone. I like how you've transmuted the pole into something less overwhelming. Bravo!
Not having kangaroos around here I wonder what it would be like to actually see one while out for a walk. The fact he's staring straight at you makes you wonder what he's thinking.
