what i found such a great surprise .. was ..
that i saw the guy .. and the scene .. and then i saw the shadow ..
not one but TWO .. !! ..
what a brilliant shot .. because the person behind the obvious guy was hidden .. kinda .. except for the feet really ..
i think Don should write a poem about this shot .. like a reversal of sorts ..

Good B&W. I like the sky and the foam on the shore.

Thoughts of summer surf and sun, ahhhhh.
Just saw Roz's post.. took another look and realized there's a person behind the guy. Very tricky! I should have noticed that but it was getting late and I overlooked it. Should have realized by the title.

Fine image, then the bouquet is pulled out of your sleeve -- one person, almost, becomes two shadows. Standing ovation! This is really neat. And it's done so adroitly. As I first mentioned, the overall image is impressive -- handsome sky, sea, beach, headland. The title, drawn from Don's poem, is one of the best I've seen put to a photograph.

I like his flirtation with the sea. He is doing much better than my weeds
