This is an experiment using an app called Pencil Camera. There are a lot of artistic filters that can be applied before of after taking the shot.

This on is just my phone and fingers, reflected in the screen of my iPad. No editing was done on it. However, I think I should remove some of the spots, which are probably from bits of dirt on my iPad.

That is a pretty cool effect. (From the thumb I thought that you were knitting.)

I also like what you've done here, it's very suggestive in a subtle sort of way.

I got over that concern, by realizing I am the one making the decisions about which apps, sliders, and the amount of manipulation. Even if I am using Photoshop and plug-ins, I am manipulating sliders, and the software is doing the complicated algorithms. It’s all about what appeals to me as the artist.

I like jagar's Kate Bush comment. Now I hear her singing "Hounds of Love". Becoming digital art but still engaging.

Those fingernails have a life of their own!

Not sure what you were looking for here but you stumbled across something rather special and I’m digging it big time, not sure why but who cares.

John, thank you, and you’re right, I did stumble across this, and I too am surprised at how much I like it. :))

Fine artistry drawn from a phone camera. I'm so out of the loop. The colors are a bouquet of pastels. Your fingers are beautifully shaded and sculptural. Please take no offense -- they look like a line of platypuses. Lovely, amazing what you've done.
