The pieces of this visual puzzle are at once harmonius and discreet. I can't stop looking... and I've found a new favorite for my collection.

Terrific contrast between Dodo and the gritty foreground. Gap and his muscular physic steals the show. Everything is isolated nicely in this image.

well composed with one dog a beautiful shape within the lower half and the other dog bridging the two halves. I like the ultrasharpness

Another dog I like is the Viszla which is a little like the Weimaraner but not as big. Viszlas are great companion dogs and they really attach themselves to you.

loved the stories in the comments ..
and you call dodo small .. 12kg ..
my little katee used to be 6kg .. that was her normal weight .. she has now dropped to a little over 4kg due to health issues .. she is a miniature foxy ..
i had a bull terrier cross called sasha who weighed in at about 12kg .. we called her a medium sized dog ..
you must be used to giants to call 12kg small .. lol ..
and you are .. gap at 42kg .. thats BIG .. i loved the pic you put in of him a while ago as a blur .. that was good ..
anyway .. i'm loving this pic .. your black and white's are always a treat for the eyes .. and the subject is one of my favs ..
i really like the reflections of the trees as a border at the top .. everything about this is magic ..
dogs being dogs .. and in a very atmospheric scene .. perfecto .. !! .. :)

calm water, reflecting calm sky, and a pair of calm dogs, contrasting the razor sharp gravel road

The dark one is called Dodo and he̢۪s only small, he̢۪s only around 12kg. The big one is Gap he̢۪s a Weimaraner and he̢۪s big for his breed, he̢۪s around 42kg. Both of them love nothing more than their daily adventures, Dodo is the boss dog.
