Simple processing in Snapseed and Brushstroke. Cropped, and sharpened in Snapseed, applied “Simple #3” filter and signature in Brushstroke, added frame and sharpened again in Snapseed.

After seeing so many sunflower pictures -- understandably, being beautiful and majestic -- yours is a new favorite. I love the focus on the center, framed in yellow. The colors are wonderfully nuanced. I like the processing, which while obviously a step away from realism is understated and subtle. The turned over petal at about two o'clock is a nice touch, a happy tear.

This is a technical shot. When viewing on a larger device, the iPhone 6s+ is not quite up to the task of bringing out the detail. Some of the newer phones are getting closer so it's just a matter of time. Beautiful yellow tones and interesting swirling pattern.

Amazing what you do with the phone!
I am personally bothered by the border. Takes away the splendid dark hues of the flower.

Thanks for pointing that out. It was cropped and resized, so noise is a problem in that situation. It doesnât show up on the small screen of the phone. I find iColorama does a pretty good job on noise reduction.
