Agree with previous comments. Beautiful dog! I would work with him in different lighting and positions, action shots are good.

instepsGus is definitely skeptical about this whole thing! What a great expression - I don't know him, but I think I see his character.

Also, I agree with jagar and regarding possible improvements.

Gus seems to be cooperating nicely. I might like this better as a square crop. The proportions seem tall and narrow for your subject.

i am a great fan of your dog photos .. especially when they are running .. you capture the most fantastic running dogs .. i get blown away when i see them in facebook .. in fact to the point where i want to ask you for tips .. moving objects are the bane of my existence in photography .. well not entirely .. but i have great difficulty .. with the focus ..
there are auto focus settings on my camera .. like a thousand .. i shoot with canon 5DIII .. so unfortunately you wouldnt be able to help me .. :(

anyway .. i'm loving this photo .. especially the way gus is looking straight at me .. and how cuddly he looks .. he seems like a character .. a good one .. :)
