I neglected to include the location details, not because it is a secret though...

It's called Gates of the Valley (Yosemite), a very popular turnoff near the exit of the valley floor. I've stopped several times over the last 15 years and its gone from somewhat empty(though still a popular spot) to stacked up shoulder to shoulder on a small section of the riverbank. Excellent at sunset but also quite interesting at sunrise depending on the time of year.

A masterful exposure. The sun on the rocks and the reflection in the water emphasized by the deep depth of focus brings into harmony the entire scene. Top 2.

I'm not voting in this challenge because I don't vote on challenges I have entered, but I have to tell you, this is one of the most beautiful winter images I have ever seen. If this doesn't win, it will truly be a shame!
