I couldn't make this work with conventional editing as the girls were dark, with the light behind them, and making them lighter made them grainy, so I have resorted to a Topaz studio Impressionist filter.
I had a Nikon Coolpix 5700 back in the '90s. Loved that camera. Also love what you did with this image. It definitely has an Impressionistic feel and works very well. The girls come alive in this photo.
love the whole feel of this image ... the girls .. the water .. the summer day vibe .. the water and reflections and droplets and that girl kicking out with her leg .. almost dancing .. sweet .. !! ..
if you can get alien skin/snapart filter .. you can do a lot of painterly edits .. there's snapart3 and snapart4 and other filters as well with alien skin ... :)
