 done for the resolution side challenge for january

my theme is composites, overlays or textures ..

just a fun shot hanging out with my nephew's kids ..
wanted to create a sort of old world feel with the texture .. i'm not sure that i achieved it .. especially with the technology .. !! .. ;)

Cute shot. The texture and processing works. I suspect that decades from now that technology will be old world.

More beautiful children. I think you were completely successful in achieving an old world feel. This looks like it could have been taken any time in the last 100 years. A+ to you. 8-)

Hah! I just noticed the smartphone. These kids are time travelers and the smartphone is their vehicle.

I agree with John but it's better than just well shot. The eye contact, with the girl top right, makes this more than a candid. So many great photographs are like this, a group of people with one person paying attention to the camera. Great stuff!

I really like the old time feel here. There is really nothing more precious than having a group of the young ones hanging out like that. I love the look the girl on the right is giving you here!

The overlay stops this from just being an ordinary well shot family shot and makes it something far more memorable.
