| Agree with roz.. this is definitely thinking outside the box. I think posthumous would like this. Unfortunately, my screen is too rectangular and I can't really see the whole image without scrolling up and down which doesn't really do it justice. |

just adding to say .. after i have looked at this photo of yours more .. it really captures my interest .. there is something very 'moody' about this .. which pulls me in .. i can imagine a person with agoraphobia seeing this very sight .. the window and the light beckoning .. with a promise .. but the dark weight of their thoughts keeps them a prisoner ..

what i really really like about these side challenges is that it opens the door to much more experimentation .. and thinking out of the box .. than most ppl would attempt in a 'real' challenge .. well me at least ..
i love how you have composed this having that huge expanse above the objects of interest .. its like real life in a way .. :) |

| That little box, on the lower edge, with a glint of light appears to be the reflection of somebody opening or closing a door. I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking at but it's a lovely, mysterious image. |

| We call in paintings these "pauses in songs" that Don rightly mentioned, RESPIROS - monotonous parts of a painting that are left without any work to embrace the main subject(S) |

| I think big dark spaces in photos are like pauses in songs. They can be extremely effective. |
