I put this on shutter priority. I don't know why it chose 16 aperture.

you took what was already a deeply fascinating natural abstraction and turned it into an artwork - like the choice of angling too

looks at once of the earth and celestial - I see galaxies

Something you don't want to see while urban exploring! Hard to define.. interesting textures!

I looked at the original and saw a wolf. Rotated, though, I think my wolf disappeared.

Looking at one of your comments, you're in "borg" mode at the moment ;) And this image fits so well!

Looks like you want to take incongruous images that were taken by accident and were underexposed and apply curves or any method of high key to give them life and meaning.
In which case the term "modify" is not the one I'd apply - but I am not too sure about this.
Modify to me is almost sending me into a more drastic processing that involves skewing and perspective and dramatic crop and such.

You managed here to transform an unhappy image into a purposeful one. The eye appeared from nowhere is looking from another world to its former avalanche of tear or perhaps to a solidified earthly formation.

You brought out the eye . . . I mean the EYE. I am not going to stay around long enough to find out what is behind that rock!

I see a dog
longing for a caress
while a mask winks
in the starry night

I think this belongs on the cover of a Stephen King novel! (Or maybe a book of poetry.)

my first impression when opening this was of some alien being caught between the earth and the stars .. looking out .. trapped .. drowning ..
the rotation .. the black background .. the incredible contrast and details are wonderful .. seems like f16 totally worked .. !! .. ;)

I like how you rotated this. The etching on the wall(?) give the appearance of eyes.
