great texture brought out here on the surface of the leaves, looks felted! I've been wanting to try focus stacking too, but haven't yet had enough time for it.

I've never tried focus stacking. If something takes me longer than 15 minutes to do, I just don't do it. I keep telling myself I should try these things. The leaves look like they're made of felt, which is intriguing.

If the wind would ever die down here, this is what I would do . . . I love the texture and focus throughout the image. Beautiful light and tones, too.

Looking at your image I can't believe I never used focus stack!
The texture is amazing.
For the subject, a different composition might be more interesting since the leaves seem to be long.

you have certainly made old dry leaves look AMAZING .. !! ..
so many interesting details here ..
i particularly love the hairs and the veins and the out of focus bits at the back ..
