Excellent depiction of Patterns in Nature.. one of my favorite subjects. Love the way you captured the light to emphasize the pattern and lead into the ripples. Beautifully captured!
I see the crocodile as well... and once seen, it cannot be unseen, and seems to be an integral part of the composition. It was clearly meant to be. I love the textures and tones of this very special image.
could be just me .. but this has an ominous overtone to it .. would be a great scene in a horror movie .. something lurking under that there oily water ..;).. i particularly like the black and white .. of course .. and your contrasty edit .. :)
