This is splendid. I love the red rocks, the rich blue sky, the moon perfectly framed in the window. Gorgeous and quintessential New Mexico. I was raised in NM, spend many, many summers at camp at Ghost Ranch, love, love that part of the country. No wonder Georgia stayed :) |

oh my goodness .. what an incredible find .. it looks almost like a very large print placed on the rocks .. and then .. kapow .. it becomes obvious .. so good .. :) |

This is Talus Natural Arch a bit east of the entrance to Ghost Ranch in New Mexico. Just happened to be close to the right place at the right time. A little repositioning on my part after seeing the moon above the arch got me to just the right spot. |

Great exposure and composition, especially if this was a recent gibbous Moon and the arch and bush are hiding the dark part ... :-) |
