| The first person perspective gives an enjoyable immediacy to the scene. The widely differing colors seem both to find echoes in the outspread field and perimeter of trees, which imparts a glowing serenity. Fine, sophisticated composition. You can feel and hear the horses moving in their traces. |

| I am charmed by the scene, so reminiscent of fall in Ontario, but stunned by the use of the square in the composition. |

| I like the way the road literally turns into the horizon line. the horses just emphasize this line and how we should be looking (and going) |

| Love the lines of the road, lined by trees and fence, and the way it all marches up the side, around, and across the top. Beautiful fall tones and light. |
