This was difficult as it was snowing while I was shooting! I had hoped for an aperture of more than 5, although this "accident" at 2.8 seemed to turn out o.k. Flipped it, adjusted levels, desaturated the magenta a bit, and saturated the green a bit with PSP. This has been one of my more recent favorites, hopes it makes a 6!

Greetings from the Critique Club :)

Hi Kandyj...

I think you chose a good subject for an extreme angle perspective photo... I really like the contrast between the tree limbs, foliage, and the white sky. Your desaturation idea seems to have worked very well also. This photo has a nice chaotic feel to it...

I think the only thing this photo lacks is a central point of focus for the viewer. My eyes keep wandering around this shot and never really come to rest on some specific part of it...

Excellent shot and keep up the good work :)

I think the number of branches here obscures the effect of the perspective. I can't see the trunk tapering to the top of the treek, nor can I see many of the upper branches. This makes the photo a little flat.

IMO this is way to busy. My eyes don't know where to start.

Very pretty, sorry there wasn't a blue sky background here. I understand, good luck.

I like tue subdued color in this shot... very nice use of patterns and randomness... nice work :) - setzler
