This is some kind of touristy statue, right? It's a bit weird to look at. That's not necessarily a bad thing :). It's kind of funny, but the black and white treatment makes it feel like I'm supposed to take it very seriously. I think colour would be better for something kitsch like this.

Neat looking statue....(It is a statue, isn't it?) Good contrast and focus. Framing works. Lighting - well, it seems a little dark to me. Mixed feelings about the overhead wires (seems to fit with the dam, but divides the photo). 7 Swash
