Both of my hands... after I painted. Used a timed shutter since no one was here to push the button or model with the paintbrush.

Could not see the viewfinder or the focus until I went back to the camera after the shots.

I have a pretty manicure on the other side that I didn't want to mess up... hence the oddness which I find kinda fun. :D

Plus, my palm doesn't look as incredibly old as the top of my hand. *sigh*

I had the idea of painting the bones, since all of mine are currently covered with a large layer of fat, a couple of muscles, and some skin.

So, I googled the layout and painted it onto my hand... thinking that I'd figure out what to do after that.

Well, I could have at LEAST set up the tripod and camera before I painted, right?!

*sigh*

*sigh again*

Anyway, I had painted the bones, set up the camera and tripod (*sigh yet one more time*), and then... nothing.

Nothing.

Nothing came to me.

Darnsies.

I stuck my bony ("boney"??) hand underneath my camera so many times... in so many ways... and nothing.

Nothing was anything even a tiny bit interesting.

Then, I thought how creepy, cool, and weird it would be with jewelry on... backwards.

So... shot that a billion times.

Still... nothing.

So I added the paintbrush and my other hand.

I like it okay.

I wish I'd been spilling pills, or candy, or something into my bony hand... but here we are, and I'm entered.

Oh wait! I just (HOURS later) rotated it to vertical instead of horizontal as I shot it. I love it now!

Yay!

I can't wait to see what you came up with for a "Bones" challenge! Should be fun!

P.S. All of you people who know stuff about how the body looks under skin... don't you EVEN start with me. Ha!

I stipulate that I know nothing about it. I see now that the long bones should have been shorter and the next bones on the fingers should have been longer. Darnsies.

:D

And... Yes. My index finger does sway a bit.

The other one does it even more.

*sigh... yet one more time*

Fabulous take on this challenge,. Love that you actually got different colours in the bones and shade of shadows/light/darkness. Very creative!
