Originally I was going to title this picture. "When I did something wrong I felt 2 inches tall inside" to express the feelings of a child in front of a parent but I didn't want anyone to think I was suggesting an abusive adult. So I went for a broader title that covers anyone's feelings when subjected to an authority figure.

I feel gypped. I thought the voters would have favored this image to its deserving place. I figured easy top 5. I feel very insecure when I see a good image that I think should be top 5 get tossed on the side. Keep it up, the talent is there.

returning for comment:
A rather imposing and scary shot. Possibly the best representation for this challenge. Bumping up to 7

This photo speaks of authority...nice use of perspective. Person doesn't show enough expression or body language. But the use of perspective shows creative thought.

Can't... ...breathe... he's... standing on my chest. ;-)
I mighta liked this cropped above his knees to give the view of a small child instead of a cockroach. And would like to not see the background wall/ceiling lines.

Great visualization of the theme!

nice perspective, could've possibly reshot without the cat hairs on the left, and improved the colors in photoshop. very creative though, i like it. would have possibly removed the watch, as my focus tends to go there for some reason.

Good Angle on this. Definitely an imposing sense of authority here. I think this might have been better in Black and White. Also... more shoe showing on the left side makes it seem uneven. Otherwise good entry. I give this a 7

This was my thought, but didn't pull it off and enter. I think it's a good shot, but IMO, it's too close. My vision is a couple feet farther out and then up. 7

I like that his soles are in the image. Looks like he was standing on my face. He should have put on different shoes, though.

I like different POV's. Great depth of field!!

Very good idea! The colors blend in a bit too nicely. Darker pants or a darker wall would have made it even more effective, I think. It would have created a better contrast. But the idea is very good and the image has a strong impact.

How did you get the soles of his shoes? Very authoritative stance, but maybe too extreme.
