Hmmm, don't know why "nice stuff" only earns you a 6.... people are a little unenthusiastic with their grading sometimes.
Anyway, this picture is definately effective in black and white... i really like the effect of the sun shining through the fence, but you are right, the colour does have more impact.

I like the contrast between the big dome and the sunset in the background! |

The contradiction of icy environment on left and warm feeling on right is great. I also like tones on left, but somehow tones are missing on right. |

i really like the lighting here and textures too...composition lacks a little to me though, did you try any different angles..just a little centered imo..7 though for technically really good shot. |

I love the left half of this photo. And the way you have composed this, you can almost see the light rays shooting across the image. Nice. |

Great tonal range and very detailed focus. And great layout/cropping. Should be first or second in this massive bunch of entries. |

Cool angle to see the sunset and the frozen dome, but also the inclusion of it seems kindof random. Sunset looks cool. |

Lots happening here that I like. Texture on the dome, fence shadow in the snow/sand (?), interesting sky. |

Great shot. The sky is really captivating and there's great detail in the dome. One of my favourites so far. |
