| Very touching photo and great subject matter for this month. Excellent work with the selective focus, draws the viewer right into the important part of the photo. Great work! PS: might have done very well in the Hero's Challenge also. |

| Wish the leaves weren't growing out of the top of his head -- it would have more impact to just see him. Very touching photo however. |

| The writing on the wall seems just a little too dark. My monitor is calibrated to the strip at the bottom so I don't think it is a problem with that. Other then that it is a very good photo. |

| Very well done, altough the image may have been strong to just focus on the boy 's hand and arm and possible crop out the OOF head. |

| I like this image very much, but the shot through the wreath doesn't do it for me. It would have been more powerful, I think, without the wreath obscuring the child and the names on the wall. (Would be better too if names were easier to see). But such a powerful idea! |
