I like this image. The while petal that cursl somewhat up and over the center is really an essential dynamic of this image. If everything was as crisp and tight as that petal, this would be a very dramatic use of the values on the light end of the scale. I think that the softness in of the petals in the lower right corner and that the main focal point falls almost dead center are my only criticisms of this image. I think the concept of keeping a tight value range and doing it so well is brilliant. This photo is very close to being truly stunning. |
