Wow! the blue. I really wasn't expecting it with my score. I did have to combine two images from two separate days to get this shot. One was taken at sunset but it was so crowded there I couldn't get in an ideal spot and so I had part of the rocks blocking the water. So I came back the next morning with my daughter and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. We were able to get in the prime spot and even got lucky with a boat passing through. It was fairly easy to combine the two shots since they were roughly in the same spot.

Of course we’ve all seen this subject before but I think This really captures the vast expanse and textures beautifully. . Glad this made the top spot.

I took the same picture from exactly the same spot June, 2017. The sun was setting to the right side at about 1:00. I like your shot better. The tones are more even and the color is sharper. Great job.
