Hi commenters,
Just to answer a few points...
I choose to focus on names that were the same in an attempt to show that millions have died. I also chose the shallow DOF for the same reason. This is a commenorative plauque in Glasgo Central Train Station in Scotland.

| The focus here is on the name John instead of the many names of the men and women who died. Unless this is meant to be an homage to a particular John Bell then I think a wider view and deeper DOF would have helped. 8 |

| Great use of depth of focus, and perfect subject matter. The repetition of last and first names if a bit puzzling - perhaps it would have been better to have 4 completely different names, |

| The part in focus should be less in the middle of the picture. Too symmetrical as it is. Pretty good idea though, and a very clever choice of B/w. |
