 Walking along Columbia River path across from Portland, OR, I noticed a couple standing together in the swath of setting sunlight, with haze contributed by large forest fires not many miles away. Only had my iPhone along. After making the image, I went down to the beach and offered to send them a copy. It turns out they were walking on the beach celebrating their first wedding anniversary. Wish I had telephoto and DLSR, but they appreciated it anyway.

I gave this a 7. I quite like it, actually. The pinks and grays are beautiful to my eyes, and the shot has a pleasing, balanced composition.
