| This is so lovely Mary Ann. I was one of the 9s. I don't get those low votes either. I think it's an image that benefits from being viewed as large as possible so one can drink all the detail in...the colors, textures, the moment. It reminds me of a Wyeth painting, and I think that's why I enjoy this so much. |

I really cannot begin to understand just how some could mete out scores of 1 to 3 for this image.
I did not vote in this challenge as I had an entry in it, but really believe it should have done much better.

| I really like this scene. I feel as if it would be even better if you cropped it tighter on the left to remove the dead space. This would make the barn and the beautiful dog more the subject of the composition and give it greater appeal. Thanks for posting. |

| Postcard quality photograph for sure. I like everything about this photo; it seems to tell a story about the location. You obtained excellent focus, composition, and exposure. One of my favorites in this contest. |

| The composition is terrific- the slant gives movement- the light is a bit bright, if this shot was golden hour it would be a classic for the ages... |
