 Thank you for the nice comments - much-appreciated. Hubby and I went away on our 27th anniversary whilst youngest son was at a camp in America. Tasmania is gorgeous possibly the best state in Australia.

I'm not sure it this is out of character apart from the fact that I don't normally shoot in the snow, but I've pretty much tried nearly every genre of photography and the genres I haven't it's for a reason that I will not discuss on here.



PS: the best thing about this photo is the day before I took this image, it was a very green enchanted forest, then the next morning it snowed. We got to do the same hikes with different perspectives, just beautiful! On the negative side it snowed so much and was blowing a gale up on Cradle Mountain that we couldn't do the three hour hike to Lake Dove.

Wow, I like the yellow background illuminating those trees. The snow is naturally white (not blueish, like in many pictures). This gets my 10
