Greetings from the Critique Club :)

Hi Cercy...

Cats make wonderful cliche photos :) I particularly like this composition because of the nice diagonal orientation. I think the only thing that would have made this any stronger would have been to include a little 'eye' in the shot maybe... I apologize for a short critique/comment on this, but I just can't really find much more to add... I particularly like this photo and don't find much wrong with it at all :)

sorry to be picky, but your title kind of makes me lower your score. The nose is perfectly in focus, but the tongue is soft. and if you are a "rule of thirds" kind of photographer the nose, not the tongue would be the focal point.

I don't understand why you didn't show the eyes of the cat. This is not very interesting.

I loved this photo from the moment I saw the thumbnail!!! Great shot of an everyday (everyminute?) occurence!! I can see the little pores on the nose -- WOW!! And because it's a kitty, you get a 10!!!!

Great capture. Pink & grey work very well together. Nose is very sharp, but I'd like to see a little more dof so that the tongue is in better focus if not the paw as well. I like the crop. Bumping this one up.

Would have preferred that the tongue be in focus, since the title kind of makes it the subject. I like the composition, but would have liked better focus throughout.

Reminds me of the shivers I get when the cat licks my nose at 6:00 AM to wake me up so I will feed her. I like the composition and the sharpness is good and your use of depth of field to highlight yhr subject is good, but I might like a dit more sharpness in the paw as well.

Cat's nose from up close, very good action shot. Would be better to see the cat's eyes, I think.
