Conceptually this image was a good idea, but from my POV circumstances let you down; the light itself is so diffused and watery that the image lacks oomph in my eyes. I do love a shingled beach, though :-) I give this a 5
average subject. Seen too many times. A 6 from me, mainly because of the technical skills (sharpness, exposure time, white balance and composition which are great)
The red stands out nicely from the grays and blues. Horizon feels slightly off but I think that's just because the waves were inconsiderately uneven when they hit the shore. Kinda' feel like I want to move the umbrella farther into the corner, too. But that's me :-) Still near the top of my voting heap.
