Yeah... I shot three different fire hydrants today... One in town... one at a college... one in a neighborhood... and...

Oddly, all three of them had googly eyes.

What are the odds of THAT?!

I showed this image to Hubby (after entering on the last night of the challenge) and he said, "It needs a dog peeing on it."

Dang it! It DOES!

He offered to go pee on it... knowing that if he did, whichever dog we took with us to the hydrant... would pee on it right after him.

But, I'm not bold enough for Hubby to pee on a hydrant next to a neighborhood.

Just imagine it instead.

You laughed.

Didn't you?
:D

BTW, I had a guitar with googly eyes and a "smile" that I had in for two weeks... until today. *sigh*

I liked it because it was warm... and fun and (I think) very well shot. BUT, I think a less "studio" shot will do better with the voters, so it's out.

I wonder how many other hydrants will be competing with my boy here...

We do have adorable hydrants in our TinyTown...

I love your hydrant boy, Lydia. And your notes crack me up. I'm sure if you'd taken your dog to the hydrant he'd have peed on it. Even if just to be the first...but he wouldn't be. I guarantee that you'd have won ... so... I'm lucky you didn't take your dog to that hydrant. Or any hydrant.
