Could have been really cool - maybe by cleaning up the background ...

just look behind the ornament - what a terrible background distraction - Remember to look at the whole image before pressing the shutter release

Nice light and colours on the glass, but in my opinion the background is distracting, despite being out of focus.

Very pretty vase. I would like this shot a lot more without the distracting chairs in the background. The angle of the edge of the table creates a nice balance with the vase opening to the right.

The chairs in the background are distracting, at least for me.

beautiful vase. eliminate the background--chairs are distracting and take away the focus from the vase.

this looks like a great subject, well lit, with a very bad background.

The background is very distracting as is the table. The image seems clear enough at the top. It will help you alot in the future to consider whats in the whole of the image, even a blank wall is good as a background.

This shot is begging for a studio setting. The lighting is very nice, but the background is horrible

Lovely piece of glasswork, but not an extreme close up IMO. Also, dent on table is distracting.

Nice vase, but why leave the chairs in the background? They add nothing to the shot and distract from the true subject.
