During migration season, pick up your camera because there may be a "fallout" as migrating birds run headlong into a snowstorm. This Snowy Egret at Lake Estes, 04/27/17 8:51am, was considering flying back to Florida. Northern Colorado is the northern limit of summer range. Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, Canon EF400mm f/4 DO IS II USM +1.4xIII, 1/1250s@f/8.0, ISO 400. Yellow lores, yellow feet and white lacy plumes make this a very photogenic bird.
