| You found an interesting subject to shoot...you might try isolating just the mushroom by cropping more, as the leaves behind are a little distracting. |

| The colours don't add anything to this photo, as they're very flat. B&W would allow more focus on the textures which are much more interesting. Also, try bumping the contrast up in post processing. |

| This is not macro. Macro will present the object bigger in reproduction than in life. soft focus as well. |
