In the still photo, this huge flock of migrating mixed blackbirds was lost against the dark winter trees. So in post-processing, I inverted the image and then increased the contrast to help convey the magnitude of this cacaphonous collective.

This is an absolutely stunning image. I didn't vote any of this challenge because life happened and then it was too late to vote them all, so I voted none, but this would have been my top scorer for sure. I'd love to see a thread showing how you created this from the original exposure, because it's a total testament to the acuity of your visualization :-)

This is just amazing ..i was going too say it would have been nice if u were closer too distinguish the birds in flight but i came back and feel this one is better as a perpective bump this up
