Silver Efex Pro 2 conversion w/ selenium toning. Moonset on Stone's Peak. As seen from Moraine Park...48 minutes after sunrise. It was a beautiful day, with no wind and mild temps. 02/13/17 7:47am. Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, Canon EF200mm f/2.8L USM, 1/125s@f/11, ISO 100, lens focal length 200mm.

Clouds behind me blocking direct sunlight on the snow peaks. Blue sky behind moon, with a few scud clouds above peak.

This is as "minimalistic" as my landscape scenes get. Yes, I could eliminate the rocks, trees and moon, but then it would not be of interest. |

I adore this photo.
It's teetering on the edge of minimalism. The B&W helps, but with all of the rocky and tree details, hard to say how people will react to finding it "minimal". |
