| Interesting find and quite colorful. However, my first visual impression lumps this with "snapshot" images. Since I like the subject and want to like the image better, I spend some time trying to figure out my reaction. I think the photographic issue is the right half and upper 1/4 of the picture contain very strong high contrast areas of white sky and dark branches and underbrush that the eye cannot resist. This feels like too much competition with the main subject. Perhaps a square crop removing most of the sky would still include enough of the environment while putting emphasis on the main subject. |

| Very nice contrast of color against the forest. It might have been fun to play around with flash and exposure to bring the sky down a bit, seems a bit overexposed and distracts from the impact of the photo. But overall a nice shot. |
