As far as I know, the coloured glass baubles with glitter were invented by glass blowers from Lauscha, Thuringia, a federal state in the middle of Germany.

I own some quite nice ones too. My mother's friend is a glass painting artist and she made some for me with hibernal and Christmassy motifs. It's hard to reckognize - they are on the upper half of the tree. At the bottom there are only plastic baubles, since our cat loves to sit under the tree and to move the ornaments with his paw, so I don't want to risk glass cullet.

Impossible for me to do the trick. But what do I know, I am too sick to do anything. I like a snowed tree, beautiful ornaments. Didn't they originate in Germany? I got from there a few amazing ornaments.

Very cool, I got the 3-D to work. Love the blue ornaments.

it's indeed not difficult once you figured it out.
Maybe it's easier when you press F11 and/or diminish the zoom of your monitor view to get the full view
