My good friend was putting on a show Thanksgiving Eve, so I used the opportunity to experiment. Shot with my Sigma 35 Art, I set up 2 sec exposures with a speed light set to trigger just before the shutter curtain closed. I loved the result and plan to experiment with it more. seems to lend itself well to live music. most of the post work was dedicated to removing some of the ugly colors from the LED lighting wash.

Difficult to make work normally but this pulls it off beautifully. The swirls give a frenetic, almost aural sense of the sound and composition is perfectly dizzying.
