 Hello folks.
I set this shot up using my Canon A60 with a macro lense and two light sources shining from the right front onto the diamonds.
The light gave it some glamorous glow which I liked very much.
The ring was stuck into some black paperboard which also makes the background of this picture.

I made some slight curve adjustements in PS like auto-contrast, and colour balance.

Very nice extreme close up. I like the color and lighting. The background is very fitting, nothing distracting there. The angle and framing/cropping are nice as well. Focus and calrity are good. i love the detail. Especiallythe little scratches on the left side of the band. Very good for the challenge. Good luck in the challenge. ~Heather~

Very nice shot with good lighting and DoF. I think darkening it and/or adding contrast would help though, as the background is grey rather than black. Black would give the subject more impact.
