To me you have your dof reversed. The flower, subject, is in the background, nicely focused, behind an out of focus leaf. BUT with your title, that is obviously intentional. Not sure how I feel about that or how it will go over. I have very mixed feelings about this. I'll give your credit for coloring outside the lines. And you did it very well. Just not sure personally, how I feel. It's not really appealling but there is something about it that holds your attention. I believe you have accomplished what you intended. For that you deserve a 10. For the photo itself I think, as is and as a photok, it deserves a 5. Together they get you a 7.5 |
