I was working for an Irish Festival (quite a big one) as photographer and filmmaker and I went to the City House balcony for some "aerial footage".

I was filming some clips from The Rumjacks' show and I thought "Hey, the Tilt-Shift challenge is still open!".

I looked in my bag, ready to shoot something for the challenge and I realized that the only lenses I left downstairs were the 90mm macro, the 14mm, the 8mm fisheye and... of course... THE 24MM TILT-SHIFT!

So I was like "Meh... too bad".

Then I sent a smartphone pic to a couple of friends, just to let them know I was working and I was immediately encouraged by those two bad boys responding to the names " alexkc " and " sisto " to take one of those pictures I shot from there and turn it into a Tilt-Shift shot...

So, after importing all the footage I took this from the Time-Lapse sequence and processed it.

Just Lightroom and a lens blur applied via quick mask in Photoshop.

Hope you'll enjoy it.

Cheers!

Thanks for your appreciation, and also for reading my notes, Annie :)

I like sharing what's behind a pic I shoot for DPC, when there's something "funny" or somewhat peculiar about it :)

I like this a lot - the overhead shot meets the challenge criteria. Well done
