Probably not terribly original, but I couldn't figure out anything else to try. I also tried a few waist shots of some ladies in fancy dresses with all the ribbons and fancy tying, but this gentlemen's belt struck me as wonderful.

So I guess I took the challenge title too seriously. I did not like the idea of the challenge simply being a free study, which I guess it kind of was. So I held the camera at waist level for a couple of days and shot people. This was my favorite of the bunch. I liked the skull and the copper cup.

(Taken at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. Oh the sites that I saw. Just fantastic visual feast for the eyes.)

I like it - not exactly sure what it is or represents, but great color and I really like the reverse image in the copper cup.
