Hello from the critique club
An interesting image that meets the challenge well.
Hello Victor and welcome to DPC with this your first challenge entry. You have found a location that enables us to feel the expanse of this mountainous region with some lovely recession far into the distance it gives us a sense of space and grandeur. The composition works quite well with the boulder on the left dominating the foreground but the green foliage is so insignificant it feels more like an intrusion than an integral part of the scene. There is a bluish cast over the whole image that would benefit from warming up a little with the white balance control, I think this would give a more natural feel to both the land and sky. Also, a touch of exposure compensation to brighten it all up a little would benefit the end result. All in all a great start to your DPC presence we look forward to seeing ore from you soon Victor. |

| Somebody should call the Sierra Club, alert them to all the wonderful photos in this challenge. It's truly amazing. What a beautiful planet we have to live on. Thanks for posting this shot. |
