 I wasn't going to enter this challenge because, I read the forum thread about it and... I'm not sure what the folks who think Manet was only about "snapshots" of humans will do with this.

His flower paintings are stunning.

So, here's my "twelve-minutes-from-cutting-the-magnolia-bloom-to-entering-a-photo-of-it-on-DPC" image.

I had prepared the background before I went to cut the bloom. That took... uhhh... less than a minute.

I didn't "fuss with" the material... just draped it there and moved on. (TOTALLY not like me, but I'm just doing this because it's a challenge. *grin*)




Even if it sucks on score, I still think it fits the challenge and I like it.


Bring it, folks! Ha!
